I want to attach my 49" monitor to a bracket. If I extend the bracket all the way, there is an enormous leverage force due to the heavy weight of the monitor and the outstretched arm. Now the question: Can a tabletop withstand all this without breaking? Can this mount withstand it? (I hope so, of course, if a 19kg payload is recommended).

The arm is very stable, I have the Samsung Neo G9 in 49". The table was bought at Ikea and is a fake wooden table (5cm thick). I have never fully extended the arm but I don't think it should be a problem. The mounting plate of the Ergotron is quite large compared to others. The money is worth it, I have already bought it twice because it convinced me so much.
