The Netgear Arlo PRO set comes with rechargeable batteries. I bought two spare batteries so that the cameras always remain in operation (one will also do, as the cameras work differently often and the batteries are therefore not empty at the same time). The batteries last a very long time. No comparison to the Netgear Arlo set, which runs on (rechargeable) batteries. I have both systems in use, a total of 6 cameras. But I wouldn't buy the Arlo again, precisely because of the batteries, which degrade much too quickly. In addition, with the Arlo Pro you can still set the noise level and use audio (sound and microphone).

No batteries are needed for this set, rechargeable batteries are included... I have to say that so far they have held up quite well in terms of capacity.
