I would like to buy this soundbar, but also interested in Samsung HW-K950. Anyone can help me to choose?

Helpful answer

To be honest I bought hte JBL bar because of the "satellite" feature that I thought was cool. However, I returned the product (and I do not return products that often) because I was really disappointed by the quality of the sound. The bad spectrum spread could probably come from the room accoustics, but for my taste there was too loud basses and too loud highs...but no middle frequencies at all which is very annoying (dialogs, everything sounds mushy). The subwoofer has the speaker turned downwards...so I guess it depends on the floor you have, but the bass was reflecting too strong (oversaturated) and was not a clean deep bass. From a sound point of view I would say that the JBL Flip 4 (portable bluetooth speakers( sound BETTER than this JBL Bar 5.1! Which is a shame!

The LED display feels a little bit "old school" and quite limited

For a positive note, I think the removable surround speakers are great, they get charged when attached to the main bar and you can just remove them when you are watching a movie. I wanted a "no cable' 5.1 surround system....but I put back a my cheap Sony 5.1 system back until I find a better wireless solution.

The Samsung looks more sleek and more classical. The subwoofer as well. I cannot judge the sound quality as I do not own one. This product did not exist when I bought the JBL. I will have a look at it.

Hope this helped
