I would like to connect an Xbox One controller to my PC via USB, i.e. connection + power supply via PC. Does this work with this product or is it really only meant for charging? (Connection according to Microsoft support: https://support.xbox.com/de-CH/xbox-on-windows/accessories/connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc )

If you only want to use the controller wired, I think it should work if you just take out the batteries and connect the controller. If you want to use it without a cable, you need the wireless adapter.
