If I connect this adapter to an analogue line input of a stereo amplifier, can the volume be controlled via the TV remote control, or is the signal fixed and the volume must be controlled via the volume control of the amplifier?

The volume control via the TV does not work for me (Samsung Q60T). It probably depends on the model.
