I'm pretty new to HD monitors. Do I need a specific graphics card on my laptop? Is it compatible with all Mac, DELL and HP laptops? How can I check compatibility? Thanks in advance

I dont know about Mac, I use it with my standard HP laptop (no specific graphic card). It work also as a docking station connected with a simple USB-C cable.
