Question about Dell UltraSharp U2723QE

Is it possible to connect the U2723QE monitor to the PC (Thinkpad x1 yoga6) via USB C and then a second monitor (Dell p2415q) via Displayport (as far as I can see there is only the output for monitors, right?)? In addition to this setup, I would also want to be able to use both screens from my second laptop (Thinkpad x1 tablet) via the Displayport from the U2723QE. Is this possible? How easy is it to switch?

As far as I know, the screen displays the signal it receives. So it's the computer's ability to generate and send, via the desired ports, complementary images displayed on two or even three screens that is decisive.

The monitor has a DisplayPort Out connection. The second monitor can therefore be connected directly to the monitor and then connected to the notebook via USB-C. Instructions are included.
