I don't have both at home, of course ;-) but as a previous LCD owner (Samsung for about 4 years) I think I can see a clear difference. The picture is calm and at the same time intense. But that's always subjective and difficult to answer without a direct comparison, and it also depends on quantitative and content-related usage behaviour.
