Is the range only 120 metres? So if a smart tag is mounted on a bike and it is stolen, it won't be found, will it?

The 120-metre range only applies to nearby Bluetooth searches, e.g. at an airport. If your mobile phone is compatible, you can track the SmartTag anywhere in the world via the internet, and it works perfectly. But be warned, only the latest generation handsets are compatible, and not all brands. No problem with Samsung Galaxy S21, S22 or S23.
