Since unfortunately there are hardly any instructions for use enclosed, here is my question: Can I also connect the docking station to a USB plug or to a power socket? Thank you very much for your answer.

The device basically transmits the voltage it receives through the USB connection. It will work (as far as I have understood the question correctly, also on a USB socket), but the charging speed depends on the power of the charger or the socket.

I bought the charging station, but unfortunately it doesn't do the job as intended: I thought USB C referred to the port connection where the mobile phone is plugged in. That's also true. But at the end of the charging cable, where the station is connected, there is also a USB C port...? Dis means that the station cannot be connected directly to the power supply or to a power supply unit with a USB A socket, such as a normal mobile phone cable. And unfortunately the cable cannot be exchanged on the docking station because it is permanently installed. Too bad, now we have to get a corresponding adapter. Ordered separately, it is disproportionately expensive. You can only connect the station to one USB-C socket, which makes little sense.
