So when I read this, these converters seem to me to be a poor man's solution, or what sense does it make if the losses are so high and, what's more, not even all lenses work with it? I mean, it was still understandable with Hubble, but lenses on lenses on lenses to make everything darker and darker and darker, yet the part doesn't even work on all lenses for the price? Okay, I'd better screw on the T2 and connect the Mead telescope, then I'll also have a worm gear for long exposures. Personally, I think it's a stupid idea...

Such a teleconverter can make sense for fast lenses. Why should it work for all lenses? If that were the case, there would be people who would mount it on a low-light zoom or a standard zoom and then complain about the image quality.
Those who have no use for it simply don't buy it. Nikon F is dead anyway.
