This actually sucks, maybe i've been unlucky with the cable but being disconnected from the pc and going back to quest 2 menu every 5 seconds its utterly annoying and quick tip. Dont buy the quest 1 or 2 if you wanna play pc vr games, you will be so disappointed that u wanna burn the headset and send an email to the oculus support so they can watch their products being burnt

I bet you have an AMD graphics card. I've had the same issue, and it is caused by some versions of their Radeon drivers. Here's how it goes for me:
Version 20.9.1: Oculus link works perfectly
Version 20.11.*: Oculus link works for a few seconds, then disconnects.
Version 21.3.* : Not personally tested, but I've read that they have made bug fixes, and that it works correctly as well.
