I use the SD card with a Sony A6700. For every video recording I make, a Word file is created that I cannot open, all ending with .XML, what are these files for? In addition, there are folders pre-installed on the card such as : " DATABASE, M4ROOT, SONY, CLIP, GENERAL, SUB, TAKE etc. do I need these folders or can I delete them? Thank you very much and have a nice evening

Helpful answer

Your camera has created the folders. They are not pre-installed on the card. If you delete them, they will be created again. XML has nothing to do with Word.

Hi lucawidmer1,

the files and folders mentioned are created by the camera and the computer to manage the data stored on the memory card and should not be deleted.
