What is the difference between this printer MFCL3760CDWRE1 (353.--) and the printer MFCL3760CDWC1 (428.--), apart from the release date? Is this a cut-down version, as it has lower specifications than listed on the Brother website?

Now to your justified question, which I also asked myself before buying: The cheaper one is the "old model" visually recognisable by the fact that it has no front USB port (on the left in the photo) otherwise they should be identical. It has USB at the back. A micro-facelift, so to speak. The machine is the same.
