In practice, the connection between the camera and HomeBase is usually around 10-30 metres for a stable signal, depending on the walls and surroundings. A distance of 70-80 metres may only be possible with a clear view, but cannot usually be reliably achieved in buildings. The HomeBase must be connected via LAN cable for setup, but can then also be operated via WLAN. For greater distances, we recommend placing it as centrally as possible or using a WLAN/mesh system.
