When I bought the iPhone 8 from Digitec in June 2018 I thought it included the "Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter" because I have one. I just bought a second iPhone 8 from Digitec last week but this time the box did not contain the "Apple Lightning to 3.5mm headphone jack adapter". Has Apple removed this adapter from newer iPhone 8 boxes?

That’s exactly right, the free adapters have been gone from almost a year. To be honest though between 2 iPhones my wife and I used 1 adapter ONCE in 3 years...
