I rather suspect that it is due to your provider. Is the set really connected to the provider modem? If it has a line in the centre indicating that it is not connected via the modem, then the modem is offline. Otherwise I would recommend contacting the provider Swisscom, Sunrise or UPC or someone else. It will not be due to the set, but always depends on whether the connection to the provider is working at that moment.
