Why do some Fairphone 4s say "SIM + eSIM" and others "Dual SIM" (the latter supposedly not allowing memory expansion)? On the Fairphone website I have not found any indication that there is a version of the FP4 that does *not* support eSIM. According to the website, the FP4 has 2 slots. One for a nano-SIM, the second for a microSD card. The 2nd SIM is always an eSIM; you cannot install a 2nd nano-SIM: https://shop.fairphone.com/ch_de/buy-fairphone-4#tech-specs: One physical nano-SIM slot (4FF), 5G-enabled* One eSIM, 5G-enabled*. * Only one SIM card slot with 5G wireless technology can be active at a time.
