Question about Ubiquiti UniFi AP AC-PRO

We want to set up a small WLAN infrastructure in a building and install one access point per floor, which is connected to the other access points via MESH (roaming). Can you tell us whether the Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC-PRO incl. PoE Injector must be used in combination with a Ubiquiti AmpliFi AFi-R router or whether we can simply order 3 x Ubiquiti UniFi AP-AC-PRO incl. PoE Injector? can be ordered?

So I only have the AP, without the Ubiquiti router and it works great.
