Ideal for smaller office environments, medical practices, and law firms, the HP Pro Shredder 12MC is capable of shredding 12 DIN A4 sheets at a time. In Micro Cut mode, this reliable document shredder securely destroys your sensitive and personal data—such as design drawings, process documents, or patient records—in compliance with GDPR, reducing them to small particles measuring 2 mm x 15 mm. Thus, the professional office shredder in a sleek black design meets the high-security P-5 standard and is an essential addition to any office. The high-quality HP Pro Shredder 12MC boasts a relatively long operating time of 30 minutes before requiring a cooling break. Equipped with wheels for easy mobility, it is intuitively operated and runs at an impressively low noise level of only 55 decibels. The removable waste bin for shredded material has a capacity of 25 liters, features a viewing window, and is easy to empty. The modern document shredder automatically enters sleep mode after 30 minutes, reducing power consumption to under 0.5 watts. In addition to an indicator for an open or full waste bin, the paper shredder is equipped with an overheating and overload indicator as well as an automatic start-stop function. Thanks to its anti-jam technology, the powerful device halts the shredding process if you attempt to shred more than 12 sheets at once, and it returns the paper back. Fortunately, credit cards, office staples, and paper clips pose no problems for the shredder and do not need to be painstakingly separated before shredding. To ensure long-lasting performance of your HP Pro Shredder 12MC, it is recommended to regularly clean it of dust and paper remnants. With proper maintenance and cleaning of the cutting mechanism, you will consistently achieve excellent shredding results, extend the device’s lifespan, and enjoy a consistently quiet operation.
