The length of the finger hole to the hinge allows for significant pressure to be applied while cutting. The scissors can be disassembled for easy cleaning. The swivel screw allows for the adjustment of the tension or resistance of the hinges. They are symmetrical and can be used by both left-handed and right-handed individuals.
