Bark for Christmas, designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, was introduced in 2015 with the eponymous table centerpiece. The creators drew inspiration from their home, Casa Boucquillon: a place of experimentation, meditation, and work, where the symbiosis with nature defines life. The perforation of the Bark series resembles the bark of the trees surrounding the house. The result is a distinctly poetic collection, where each individual object presents itself in a constant and harmonious dialogue with nature through its form or function.
