The incense cones are made from a mixture of charcoal, potato starch as a binder, sandalwood, beech flour, and some other ingredients for easy ignition, to which the fragrance is then added. In addition to the "king powder" frankincense, other substances from distant, exotic countries are mixed into the candle paste, such as amber, lavender, mastic, or Peru balsam. The candles are then shaped from this raw paste, dried, and packaged.
