On the on side, the alarm is activated and displays the time on the left and the alarm time on the right. By turning the alarm clock over, the alarm can be switched on and off, the large letters on the top or bottom clearly show which mode is active. On the off side, the alarm is deactivated and the alarm clock only displays the time. The touch pad, when touched, provides illumination of the display.
