Instructions for use of textile dye for dyeing in the washing machine
It is recommended to wear gloves and to use a clean and lime-free washing machine. Weigh the dry textiles to be dyed.
Cut a corner off each transparent tray (textile dye and fixative) to create an opening.
First place the transparent trays in the drum without emptying them.
Cover them with 500g of table salt, regardless of the dye dose or the quantity of textiles to be dyed.
Then place the fabric loosely in the drum. Set the machine to the longest possible wash cycle at 40°C (no prewash programme and no eco or economy programme). Keep to the recommended temperature of 40°C (at 30°C: the result will be very light and the colours will not be washable; at 60°C: the result will be too dark).
At the end of the programme, remove the empty transparent trays. Leave the laundry in the drum and repeat the same wash cycle at 40°C with a sufficient amount of washing powder to remove the excess colour.
Dry the dyed fabric in the shade or in the tumbler. The machine is ready for the next wash, but we recommend a wash cycle with dark laundry after dyeing.
