The question is a little too vague. The noise level isn't ideal. It's quite noisy. Then depending on the size of the living room and the height, we'll have to see.

If the living room ceiling is high enough, from 3 metres, then mounting would be recommended. Otherwise, it is too dangerous at normal living room height, i.e. possible contact with the hands.
