How can a simple analog thermostat which costs about 1-5$ to produce is sold at retail price 115.- is beyond my comprehension

If we had these sourcing costs, it would be more convenient for us as well. Unfortunately, this item is traded much more expensive, also the market price in Switzerland is quite close to ours.
