I noticed a beeping noise for the first time a few days after installation. The beeping only occurs when the light and rotation are off. As soon as I activate the light or rotation (by remote control), the beeping disappears. Logically, it also disappears when I switch off the power through the main light switch. Is this normal or a defect? The whimpering is disturbing when sleeping and I will have to return the fan. Otherwise, it's top-notch.
