Product details

The Bresser Messier OTA MC-152/1900 HEXAFOC is a high-quality optical tube assembly designed for both night sky and solar observation. This Maksutov-Cassegrain telescope features a 150 mm aperture and 1900 mm focal length, providing excellent resolution for planetary observation, double stars, and planetary nebulae. The compact optical design with a short tube length makes it ideal for mobile use while maintaining a long focal length for relaxed high-magnification viewing. The telescope includes a premium objective solar filter for safe observation of sunspots, eclipses, and planetary transits. This optical tube assembly comes without a mount or tripod, offering flexibility for experienced astronomers to use with their preferred mounting systems. The telescope features a 65 mm diameter eyepiece extraction system for excellent light transmission and comfortable viewing. It includes an optimized finder scope holder, a carrying handle with an integrated camera mount, and a smartphone camera adapter for celestial navigation. The stainless steel prism rail features a 44 mm universal dovetail compatible with GP, EQ5, and LXD75 mounts. The package includes a 26 mm Super Plössl eyepiece, integrated adapters, a 50.8 mm eyepiece adapter, tube clamps with prism rail, a 6x30 finder telescope, a 90° zenith mirror, and astronomy PC software Stellarium available via download. The telescope measures 1900 mm in focal length with a 150 mm aperture, and the optical tube is finished in white. The brass ring clamping system ensures secure accessory attachment. This instrument is suitable for intermediate to advanced astronomers seeking a versatile optical tube for both solar system and deep sky observation with professional-grade optical performance.
