The CS (Climb Switch) is a unique climbing mode developed by Cane Creek that keeps the shock's suspension fully active during uphill rides (Low Speed Mode). Unlike conventional shocks, the Double Barrel CS features climbing-specific damping for both compression and rebound.

How does Climb Switch work? When CS (Climb Switch) is activated, the Low Speed range of the Double Barrel Air Shock is switched to climbing mode via an internal adjustment. This effectively suppresses unwanted pump movements of the shock while keeping the suspension fully active, allowing the rider to have reserves when the riding situation demands it.
