Product details

The award-winning and patented StarSense sky recognition technology from StarSense uses your smartphone to analyze star patterns in the sky and calculate its position in real-time. The StarSense Explorer app automatically generates a list of currently visible objects. Observe planets, brighter nebulae and galaxies, star clusters, and double stars from the city. Or take your telescope to a darker sky to view faint deep-sky objects.

The manual altazimuth mount with gentle, two-axis slow-motion control makes it easy to follow the arrows on the screen to your desired target. When the viewfinder turns green, it is ready for viewing through the telescope's eyepiece.

The 102mm refractor (4") with high-transmission optical XLT coatings provides sufficient light-gathering capability to observe the best celestial objects. The package includes 25mm and 10mm eyepieces, a StarSense smartphone dock, an erect image diagonal, a red dot finder (if you want to use the telescope without your phone), and a full-height stable tripod.
