The Varia RTL 515 radar provides visual and audible alerts to warn of vehicles approaching from behind at a distance of up to 140 metres. So you can see what's happening behind you while you're driving. The smart and compact radar can be paired with the Edge bike computer or a compatible smartphone as well as with certain Garmin wearables or the optional radar display unit. With the smartphone app, you receive the warning on your phone. Graphical representations as well as sound and vibration alarms alert you to the position and speed of approaching cars. Drivers are alerted to you as early as possible thanks to the daylight visibility of up to 1.6 kilometres. This means you are also safe on country roads.

There is also an automatic mode in which the rear light adjusts its brightness to the ambient light. There is a small red light in each side to ensure visibility across the direction of travel.
