The Gath designers placed particular emphasis on minimizing water resistance to prevent neck injuries during wipeouts. Due to its light weight, you hardly notice that you are wearing a helmet. The New Surf Convertible provides excellent head protection not only for surfing but also for kitesurfing or kayaking. The removable ear protectors of the Gath Surf Convertible can be easily taken off to expose the ears, which is ideal for hot weather, or they can be simply attached to provide an extension of the helmet shell for added protection against impacts and extra warmth in cold conditions. Adjustable audio openings allow for additional flexibility to block out cold wind or to be opened for improved hearing.
