Product details
Different riding styles and conditions require different brake pads. Therefore, Jagwire offers four types of pads that guarantee reliable braking performance and precise brake force modulation under varying conditions. Bikers can rely on the high-quality materials and refined compositions. Additionally, Jagwire covers a wide range of manufacturers: Jagwire pads are available for brakes from SRAM, Shimano, Avid, Formula, Magura, and many more. Sport pads come in either a semi-metallic all-round mix or in the "quiet" organic variant. The Pro semi-metallic pads offer an additional advantage over the Sport variant with reduced weight, while the Pro Extreme pads provide bikers with even higher braking power. The new Pro E-Bike brake pads are specifically tailored to meet the demands of e-bikes, and our Elite brake pads with cooling fins deliver premium performance for the toughest conditions.
Elite Cooling: Excessive and prolonged heat is a critical issue for many brakes. It can happen that the brake pad glazes, causing a sudden loss or even complete failure of braking power. In the worst case, it can also lead to overheating of the brake fluid. Ventilated brake pads ensure that the heat generated is directed away from the brake surface to the cooling fins, where good air circulation can occur.
When to use: Specifically for riders who push their bike to the limits. The Elite Cooling brake pads provide sufficient functionality even on the steepest descents.
