The Gravity BeFree 6 L filter from Katadyn prepares clean drinking water by means of gravity. Handling the water filter is particularly easy: the flexible, BPA- and PVC-free Hydrapak drinking bag simply has to be filled with water. During the filtering process, the water passes through a 0.1 micron hollow fiber filter, which reliably removes harmful bacteria, cysts and sediments. The integrated bail handle makes filling easy, and the carrying strap makes it easy to transport the filter to camp when full and hang it from the adjacent tree. The discharge hose can be easily removed via a quick release valve with automatic discharge stop, so that it does not come into contact with contaminated water when refilling.
