The upper is made of water-repellent and slip-resistant mesh, featuring three layers for a snug and structured fit, while the seamless construction ensures comfort. The innovative MicroLite Skeleton™ applications dynamically follow the movements of the foot, and the structuring Flex-Guard™ applications minimize weight while providing a barrier against wear that can occur when running over roots and rocks.

Extraordinary stability is ensured by the TrailCage System™ technology, which is located between the two upper layers. It offers structure and good foot embedding and is integrated into the lacing system.

The sole, developed by the la Sportiva R&D department, features the new grippy FriXion XT shoe profile with Impact Brake System and boasts exclusive design as well as Trail Rocker technology, which supports the natural foot strike of "heel outside - toe inside" while running.
