The models of the 42 HD-Plus series are almost as compact as the 32 models and are designed for comfortable and ergonomic handling. The binoculars sit securely in the hand. In terms of light intensity, they are hardly inferior to the larger 50 models, and the new coating method along with special HT glass from Schott ensures higher transmission. The image is brighter, and the contrast spectrum is greater. Despite their compactness, these binoculars have high light reserves for poor visibility conditions. The Leica Ultravid 42 HD-Plus binoculars are available with magnifications of 7x, 8x, and 10x.
