The brand new Manta Mips is a helmet that defines the aesthetics of MET and its cutting-edge design. It is as brilliant as the original but has a sharper look and positions itself at the top. The MET Manta Mips is more aerodynamic than its predecessor, thanks to a lowered, tubular rear section that was specifically developed in the wind tunnel at the NEWTON lab in Milan. With the rational MIPS-C2 impact management system, the MET Manta Mips is capable of gliding relative to the head in the event of an impact and redirecting harmful rotational forces. MIPS is a brain protection system designed to add extra protection to the classic helmet structure for certain types of impacts. The MIPS Brain Protection System is installed inside the helmet, between the comfort foam and the EPS. The magnetic Fidlock closure makes it easier and faster to fasten the helmet, effectively reducing transition times in triathlons. Although it is primarily an aerodynamic helmet, the MET Manta Mips is still well-ventilated. The internal channels are designed to guide the airflow. The NACA ventilation, a trademark of MET, works synergistically with specially placed outlets to ensure a constant airflow within the helmet without creating turbulence and resistance. It features two compartments for storing sunglasses. In addition to its performance, the MET Manta Mips is also exceptionally comfortable. The 360° headband ensures there are no pressure points on the skull, and its inner shape is inspired by the renowned MET Trenta 3K Carbon.
