That is absolutely possible. I have been using the mats for over a year and am very satisfied. I laid them directly on concrete in the basement. I covered the surface generously, so the whole construction doesn't slip. You can also put the fitness equipment on it.

Good day Veepee

The floor protection mats are good, but rather slippery. I would recommend rubber mats.

Here is a suggestion (but I have no experience with them):

No, rolling would be difficult and an office chair plus a person would be too heavy and the wheels would probably sink in.
Heavy fitness equipment leaves clear marks when it is moved (not injured, but the indentations remain).

If a transparent office chair floor protection mat from here or the blue and yellow club is on it, it should work, but I think cork would be a better choice.

There are 6 bottom pieces with 2 edge pieces each. So 12 pieces. When assembling with 2x3 floor parts, 10 edge pieces are needed. 2 remain.

But: the parts differ and cannot be used everywhere (different parts are needed at the "corners" than at the sides).
