Unlike a dirt bike, the new Monarch Plus shock absorber does not have a rev limiter. With its fusion of the impressively lightweight Monarch design and a completely new Solo Air system, along with a shock design resembling that of the Vivid Air, the Plus will have you bombing down all-mountain trails as if it were born for downhill. In other words, you'll need quite a bit of braking power to slow down this freight train. It might be time to consider upgrading to four-piston brakes for your ride.
