2. Garmin Varia Vue
More safety on the road - see and record with the Varia Vue headlight with dashcam. The integrated camera records razor-sharp videos in 4K and saves them automatically in the event of an accident. With a light intensity of up to 600 lumens and side lighting, you can recognise all hazards on the road even in poor lighting conditions. The Varia Vue has a battery life of up to 7 hours in daytime running light mode including video recording. When the Edge bike computer is connected, the intelligent automatic brightness function adjusts the light in five levels - continuous light mode low, medium, high and day or night flashing mode - to suit the light conditions and current speed. The Varia app can be used to adjust light and camera settings, edit and save videos via WLAN and add data overlays.

3. Garmin Varia UT 800 with helmet holder
With a consistent 800 lumens, you can ride safely. Additionally, the light intensity automatically adjusts based on your speed to extend battery life. When the sun sets while you're out on the trail, your ride doesn't have to end just yet. If your speed changes, the Varia UT800 will adjust accordingly. When paired with compatible Edge bike computers, the brightness is adjusted to ensure you have the right light for safe riding.
Thanks to its smart features, the Varia UT800 can be paired with compatible Edge computers that have light sensors. Once paired, the Varia UT800 helmet light automatically adjusts the light intensity based on speed and ride profile, providing more light when you ride faster while conserving battery at lower speeds. It also automatically adapts to ambient light and battery capacity, allowing you to stay out longer. You can turn the light on or off, control brightness, and more with a button press on the Edge computer or a dedicated remote.
With the Varia, adjusting the light intensity to match conditions is easy. The Varia UT800 helmet light offers five light modes: Power (800 lumens), Standard (400 lumens), Eco (200 lumens), Night Flash mode (100 to 300 lumens), and Day Flash mode (over 700 lumens). At full intensity, the light is visible during the day from up to 1.6 kilometers away.
The helmet light is compact and lightweight. It can be mounted on the helmet using the designated bracket and weighs less than 140 grams. Cyclists must comply with local laws regarding the placement of lighting while riding on the road. The Varia UT800 does not comply with the regulations of the StVZO.
