The carbonized flex pattern and flat profile of the T1 Alpha provide a particularly lively ride and deliver maximum propulsion in soft conditions. The set can optionally be surfed with a small trailer fin to get more riding comfort and stability in bottom and top turns. Epoxy fiberglass skimboard with EPS foam core and bamboo wood reinforcements.
State-of-the-art construction identical to the structure of an epoxy surfboard: A super-light EPS foam core is surrounded by an epoxy laminate. The result: an extremely light skimboard. A plus point is the significantly higher buoyancy compared to boards without a foam core. With this technology underfoot, real skimboarding is just beginning. With the same swing you slide at least three times as far as with conventional wooden boards. This is how you get your first waves. Skimboarding at this level is just as fascinating as surfing. The only difference is that skimboarding is also fun when there are no waves.
Note: Due to the construction, minor unevenness in the finish of these epoxy skimboards with handmade wooden inserts are normal, but they do not affect the function in any way.

The classic Wood Skimboards from SkimOne are made from 7-layer, pressed and impregnated poplar wood. This is the only way the board gets enough tension to glide even on a thin film of water. The surface is sealed and painted.
The deck is completely covered with non-slip EVA foam and therefore does not need to be waxed.
