I'm looking for a portable charger which can be used with a domestic plug (as a stop-gap until I can get a wallbox installed & as a backup charger if we are away)... Polestar want 400CHF and it would come with a Schucko connector which is not ideal. Looking at what is offered on Galaxus, these start are 175chf & many are much more expensive..... Tesla sell their portable charger direct which comes with the Swiss connector for 210CHF.... Are there any better alternatives for a similar price from the Galaxus offerings or others with features which are worth paying more for?

Why are only due 22kW listed here? There would also be 11kW from ABB. Most cars can't take 22kW AC anyway and 11kW is a bit cheaper.

Hello everyone, I would like to start work on installing an electric column in my garage, which is in a block of flats and I am a tenant. The electrician has already given me a quote of around 1850.- without Wallbox. The one they proposed to me is the 'Dazebox T Share' which costs over 1000.- which for me is madness considering both the alternatives I find here on the site but above all considering the use I would make of my car which would require a weekly recharge at most. However, the electrician tells me that if I wanted to propose a different Wallbox, it must have fault current protection, DC included! Since I understand little about this, and the electrician would certainly like to fleece me in agreement with Daze, I would like to ask you to kindly advise me which Wallbox with this feature I could buy here at the best possible price. It is not clear from the descriptions why some are more expensive than others. For example, the Pulsar Plus with a 5m cable is more expensive than the 7m one, but at the same time the 7m one weighs 1kg and the other 5kg something... Prices, weights, cable lengths are inconsistent and should perhaps be reviewed. I suggest adding a few more details so we can compare the products and choose the correct one. Another thing... when choosing the column, it is essential to know whether the type B differential is included in the unit or must be purchased separately. I am not referring to the Bundle packages where it is also well explained by the picture. I am talking about a specific field in the electrical characteristics. Thank you very much.

Dear Community We operate a solar system with 15 kWp, have an inverter from SolarEdge, a Nibe heat pump and a new go-e Gemini e-charging station for our electric car. Now we want to use automatic surplus charging. I assume that we could solve the whole thing with Solar Manager, for example. As our electrician is not familiar with this product, I'm wondering how complex or feasible this solution might be. Do we need to intervene in the existing electrical installation? Or does anyone know of alternatives so that we can charge our vehicle automatically with solar power without much effort? I look forward to feedback(s).

Hello together I am currently charging my plug-in hybrid car (13.6kWh battery) overnight (low tariff) using the Type 2 cable supplied. The slow charging doesn't bother me. However, I am now looking for an inexpensive charging station. My main concern is that I can simply plug in/unplug in the morning/evening without having to feed the cable in the boot. In addition, the charging station should be able to track the power consumption, or at least display the consumption (in kWh) after each charge. What would you recommend? Any alternative solutions are of course also welcome! :)
