The lightweight upper is made from microfibre, a high-tech material with optimum abrasion resistance. Inserts in the forefoot and rearfoot area ensure a secure and firm fit. At the heart of the G_RX is the Gaerne Floating Pivot System (GFPS) , which offers excellent lateral stability, prevents compression and overstretching and at the same time allows natural foot movement on the footrests. The anatomically moulded toe protection made of injected PU provides robust support, while the PU shift lever protection improves shift sensitivity and offers additional toe protection. The fastening system with zip and Velcro fastener allows easy adjustment to suit every rider. Inside the boot, a breathable lining ensures comfort, while strategically placed ankle pads of varying thickness provide customised support. The anatomically shaped, removable insole optimises breathability, comfort and support, making it ideal for longer rides. The Gaerne sole with its tread pattern, which has special grip zones and blends seamlessly into the upper material, offers excellent traction on footrests and controls. This design also contributes to greater durability against the typical wear and tear caused by tarmac. Replaceable toe sliders round off the features for customised protection. The G_RX boot is CE certified in accordance with EN 13634:2017 and EU Regulation 2016/425.
