The PeakTech 1650 is a measuring instrument for AC and DC currents up to 400 A via a current clamp for conductor diameters up to 30mm. Current and voltage measurements are made as True RMS (true effective value) measurements, which means that the measured values are displayed correctly even if the waveform deviates from a sine wave. Current clamps of this type are ideal for current measurement in electrical systems and control cabinets, since only individual wires are passed through the clamp jaws for non-contact current measurement and no electrical connections need to be cut. In addition, this model has extensive multimeter functions for voltage, resistance, frequency, capacitance and temperature measurement. Continuity tests with audible signal and diode tests can also be performed.
