Product details

The Fiat 131 Abarth was built on the basis of the two-door Fiat sedan. Abarth's modifications included many measures such as reducing the weight of the body, creating larger wheel arches, and implementing air intakes on the hood and side panels to optimize the cooling of the mechanics. The Fiat 131 Abarth used a longitudinally mounted 4-cylinder inline engine with an aluminum cylinder head featuring 4 valves per cylinder. It was produced starting in 1976 and was used in the World Rally Championship, where it won three manufacturers' championships, one FIA drivers' cup, and one drivers' championship. It participated in international competitions until 1982, when it was replaced by vehicles from the Lancia brand. Some paint schemes that showcase the sponsors of that time have become icons in the history of off-road motorsport.
