Product details

The sailboat Clipper is ideally suited for the beginning of model shipbuilding. The simple construction of the hull is done on the boat deck, on this the frames, the keel and the centerboard are simply plugged and glued. The hull bottom and sides are made of thin plywood already prepared for gluing. The boat can be operated without or with a remote control with a servo for the rudder. The ballast on the centerboard is made of round steel, so there is no need for the usual lead. The young modeler learns with this model the frame construction method and the basic knowledge of model sailing. This kit is so well prepared that no tools are needed to build it, the wooden parts are all punched out and the aluminum tubes for the mast and the trees are already cut to the right length. The wire fittings are already bent ready for sliding onto the aluminum tubes. The tools you will need are: Pins and adhesive tape. The kit contains all the necessary wooden parts, fittings, oars, glue and detailed instructions in German, English, French, Italian and Spanish.
