If you want to paint the figures, you can lightly sand them beforehand to help the paint adhere better. Plus Color craft paint (opaque) is available in many shades and is a great choice for decorating the wooden figures. The paint also comes in a pen, which allows for excellent detail work. If you want the colors to appear slightly blended or washed out, you can dilute Plus Color paint with water. In this case, we recommend applying a protective topcoat with a water-based acrylic varnish at the end. The version with blended colors can be combined with burned lines or patterns drawn with an electric wood burning tool before being painted over with the diluted paint.

The figures are decorative but also popular as children's toys, alongside other animals from the same wooden figure series.
