Locomotive 01 150 was delivered in 1935 with the factory number 22698 by the locomotive manufacturer Henschel & Sohn in Kassel. It earned its coal initially through hard work on the mid-mountain routes in Hesse and Thuringia, starting from Bebra. For thirty years, it remained loyal to its Hessian homeland. Darmstadt, Hanau, Frankfurt am Main, Wiesbaden, and Giessen were its stations, and the main lines along the Rhine and Lahn, over the Spessart heights and the Wetterau formed its territory. Its decommissioning took place in November 1973 in Hof.
