Product details
The standard passenger cars were delivered to the Wehrmacht between 1936 and 1943 in three versions: light standard passenger car, medium standard passenger car, and heavy standard passenger car. These vehicles were intended to replace the civilian vehicles previously procured by the Reichswehr with off-road capable vehicles. The Kfz. 4 is a light version and was officially presented at the end of February 1938. The vehicle is simple and technically advanced in its production, featuring an open all-metal body with three or four doors (in the Kfz. 2 and Kfz. 4 versions, there was no right rear door; instead, a fuel canister was mounted outside the body), a folding canvas roof, and removable celluloid windows in the upper parts of the doors.
